vag is generically translated into volkswagon corp.

but you meana ross-tech vag cable. Go to there website and they will answer your question and show you how to use it. Cost is about $250 pending on what you get. You can also get them from ecs tuning.

Copied from the FAQ post just written by 225t just a few days ago. READ IT!

Q. How do I keep the dealership from stealing all my money?
A. Invest in a Vag-Com and a Bently CD repair maual. These two together along with the forums will help you take care of all the small minor problems that mayoccur with the TT, and save you thousands literaly. If something major is wrong with your TT then you will need to take it in and have a pro look at your car. Even if you do not know that much about mechanics, it will save you money and you can learn more about this beautiful car.

limmi lets you make adjustments to things like fuel trims at idle, start up and timing but only over the whole rpm range. Theresis other uses also and when used with the graphs you can make with vagcom you can help make your car run better, especially with bt files.

Ok, so you're saying to get vagcom and get a base line. Then use limmi to tweak it and each time I modify it create new graphs and compare to the original. If using a boost controler (manual) do I need to get a fuel pressure regulator to compensate or will limmi cover it?
