I found someone local that is selling used 18" O.Z. Superleggeras (with cashed tires). They look good from the pictures and he said I can come by andinstall to try them out. He is asking $775. I know that these new are like $325. That is for the ones with the carbon fiber center caps. These have silver ones with red lettering. Does the color indicate that it was an older model? What would you try to get them for? Thanks.

 

I had those same ones on my 02 lancer back in 03

Mine were 18x7 and they were $400/wheel then. The 18's are 16lbs. I sold mine for about that when i sold mine about a year ago. Its a good deal with tires.

 

Is it ok to use the stock lugs on the new rims. I wasnt sure if that was an issue. Are they long enough?

 

if they fit there isnt an issue. You may need new lugs if the wheels require the other type to fit against the wheel. I forget the name right now, and im to lazy to look it up on ecs.

most aftermarket are conical, Audi uses ball seat.




Its a no-no to use one set if the rims designed for the other.
