Default Uni or Tapp

ok i just got a gt3076r kit and i need to know uni or tapp. tapp is 700 while uni is 890. i want to know what is better and why. i have revo now and they don't have software for my car. that sux cus it would've saved me so much money. can anyone help me decide. i also live in ny so if there is a shop that does it on the spot i'd go there. any1 know what is better price isn't the issue as much as performance and durablity.

You dont have a wbo2 car so i would go tapp. FYI, Tapp now has the highest whp 1.8t on their 1000cc file making 715whp and room to grow. Both tunes are great, but the nbo2 files go to tapp. I personally have a AWP harness im going to swap into my nbo2 ATC car so i can have the best tune available and run mafless if i wish

what is the difference for mafless? i know if i go mafless i was told to get the 50mm tail bov to go with the 38mm wastegate. power wise tho i was told to go with the maf because it will take in the airflow and componsite for that. also do you know if i can go there and get it done at a shop. i think the guy from pagparts sells it rite? sorry for all the questions just wanna get everything rite. i don't know if the owners from cts or pagparts are on this site but i did talk to both of them and i went with ctsturbo but i think i want the software from pagparts. i feel bad cus i didn't order my kit from kit. also want do you think about these shops. i know you know them both.

with a maf, you may see slightly better mpg, and sometimes better part throttle (but im sure thats not the case anymore). W/o it you dont have to replace it, worry about it getting dirty or run a pipe special for it,

You can run a tial 50mm bov with anything. Arnold at pag is the only retailer of tapp/eurodyne in the US. Just tell him what you have and he will set it up for you

I think Todd from Dubhaus does both Tapp & Uni. He lives in the same town as me.

uni will allow the ecu to still function as a learning ecu, tap is still learing but not a dynamic from what i understand. also uni has more bt files for 1.8t's than anyone else out there.

well i'm going off having a gt3076r with 630cc injectors on an 02 audi ttq. i mean 700 compared to 900 if uni can tell me there is at least a power difference or is more reliable something like that i would def consider spending the extra money looks like they are both alike anyways. Oh but i do plan on doing w/m does that make a difference? i really m still not sure which i'm gonna go with. this is why i'm looking to see if anyone has had issues with either one or anyone can tell me what they have experienced with their software.
