Under drive pulleys

Thanks. So it's not a necessary waste of $? Perfect. ECS has an underdrive pulley kit in a TB kit on there site. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to replace the pulleys while doing the TB. What's the end result of the imblance of harmonics?

I have done it on both of my previous vehicles. On my last car, there was a lightened alternator pulley, water pump pulley, and crank pulley. Together, there was a difference. Alone, not much.
I will do my TT's pulleys when it's time for my timing belt to be changed as I've never had problems with this mod.

But what you dont understand is all cars are different and dont act the same. Underdrive on the 1.8t is not the best thing to do, same goes for replacing the stock crank pulley. You can get the lw ones, but dont see whats the point of spending $200 for +/- 1-2hp and having dim lights and risking the engine coming apart when revving it high
