That is really sad to see. You had a really nice car going there and to see it all crushed like that is depressing. I'm just glad you came out with just bumps and bruises. Had you been driving a lesser car, the results would likely have been much worse.

The tread is embedded with silicon carbide chips, so it acts like a studded tire, but it doesn't wear out like a stud would. New ones keep surfacing as the tire wears.
