TT Quattro Dogbone Bushings

TT Quattro Dogbone Bushings
I installed my bushings today due to some vibration due to flex with my new new 42DD down pipe and Cat. This article was very good, but I had a significant problem that I want to document for TT owners, and maybe others.

Once I assembled the dogbone with the new bushings, I couldn't get the bolt started. It was about 1/4" from being able to start the threads. I put my weight on it but still no go. Finally, I used a coil spring compressor and pulled it into submission to get the bolt started, then it pulled right down to the stop.
It is really a strange feeling. It actually feels like less engine torque from the cockpit, but I'm sure that's my imagination. It's a very solid smooth acceleration. Vibration does increase overall, but I don't mind it. Overall worth 20 bucks and 1.25 hours of labor.
I didn't put in the round bushing. It seemed like way too much work and I read that they don't work well for some reason. Mine was solid any way.
