Double check how its set or take it out and reset it and start again. I have the old blue one that uses the allen key on both parts, and never once had a problem setting it from 7psi on my turbo lancer to 20psi on my TT.

try some lube on it and see if that helps. Also check your o-rings if you think that is a problem. I would try the green and 2 shims also

well, no luck. in 3rd geer i continue to get that fluttering sound and it sounds like its coming from the DP / Turbo area. heh.

Most likely a blown manifold to turbo gasket. Let it cool down and you can then stick your hand down there and feel for air coming out. If is leaking there or elsewhere, just pull the gasket and run w/o one. To do

Just loosen the manifold bolts and the 3 bolts for the turbo and you can pull the gasket out and then tighten everything back up.

would that cause the 15psi problem? lol. i put the green spring back in and turned it down to 13 psi. its fluttering in all gears except for 1st now. it still boosts just fine, so im guessing its a leak somewhere. you know what it almost sounds like... it sounds like a piece of aluminum rubbing on the road or something, but i am 100% that is not what it is.

this car gives me so many weekend projects. you know something... since ive owned it, i have never had it run correctly. lol...

just check everything out. If you have a exhaust leak preturbo, it can limit boost (not enough flow). Looks like you have some inspecting to do.

welp, i dropped the boost to 14psi and tossed in the green spring. it didnt make any strange noises the whole way into work this moring (45 min drive at like 30 degrees lol). go figure. if i tear that manifold gasket out regardless is it going to hurt anything? IE its not going to leak without the gasket in there will it?

I dont run the man > turbo or turbo > dp gaskets. It runs just fine without it. Most others do the same
