so i took off the vdta cover today, yes the whining noise is WAY louder and the dv noise is louder, i do like to low rumble noise the car makes with the vdta. have not had the chance to test it in full throttle on the hwy to redline. I will have to agree a better filter is needed rahter than the puny lil one that comes with it.. but whatever it does the job.


WORD OF CAUTION: make sure you take apart the heat shield on a regular basis if you plan on keeping it on. when i took mine off there were enough leaves to make a pillow (exaggerated but you get the point) along wiht a bunch of other crud that gets sucked in and trapped in there, dont ask me how, the filter itself was pretty clean but the heatshield had all sorts of garbage.

soemthing to keep in mind.

I still think its funny that the vtda takes in underhood air and people claim lower intake temps.
