Default Trailer Hitch for a TT

I have a small jet ski and want to see if I can get a trailer hitch on my TT to pull it. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this. I checked and didn't find any companies that sold a trailer hitch for it, but there is the possiblity that it can be custom made? Has anyone tried this or heard of anyone who has?
Thanx
Justin

The owner's manual for my quattro says that pulling a trailer of any size/weight can damage the quattro system. I don't know if the ban on towing applies to FWD cars as well, but even if your car is FWD and it's ok to pull a trailer with it, pulling a jet ski with a TT doesn't seem like a wise thing to do. A heavy trailer can take control of a vehicle with a short wheel base and create a situation where the trailer is steering the tow vehicle. As to making a custom hitch if you insist on pretending your TT is a pickup, I'm sure you could find a talented local machinist who who could create one for you (assuming he was willing to help you destroy your property and possibly endanger those sharing the road with you). Please don't try this. At best you're going to damage either your car or jet ski, at worst you may kill someone in an accident.

I have seen a porch 911 with a trailer hitch so im sure the TT can get one from the dealer or specialist ( not really the type of car to see a trailer on though ) except when towing a jet ski which I think would be real cool

If you get the hitch on and get the trailer hooked up, take some pictures. I would love to see a TT with a trailer on it. LOL.

Apparentaly there is a company that makes tow hitches for TT's, not sure of the name, but I was quoted at $540 for the parts plus the install, b/c it requires for the tow hooks to be cut off in order for it to fit. I decided to not go that route.

DrawTite makes one for TT's. One of my autocross buddies pulls a very small trailer to auto-x's and track days with his race wheels. He did have to dop it an inch or so to clear his MTM exhaust but it doesn't look too bad.
