Default Tie Rod End (outter) replacement?

Hey,
So I've been having this obnoxious SHAKING with my car so I took it to get aligned, well... to narrow down the possible issue(s).

Turns out, I have a very bad front driver tie rod end.

I ordered 2 from Audi @ about $75/each and will be picking them up on Thursday to install this weekend. Can someone on here explain to me how to do this? Are there any write-ups out there or does the Bentey have good information on this? IF... the Bentley does, can someone throw me a bone here?

If there aren't any write ups, I will do one for you guys.

Let's pray my wheel doesn't go flying off.

Are you sure it's that?

I had a tire shop that inspected my car try to tell me they were bent...I took the car (which had perfectly docile steering even at 100 miles plus) home and pulled the wheels off...like hell they were...straight as a drum stick.

To bend them you'd have to hit something pretty damn hard.

Yes, I'm positive it's the problem. While it was up on the rack, I walked underneath with a flashlight and saw how much play was in each tie rod end by shaking the wheel. The right side had almost no play, there was still a little due to natural wear and tear but the left side was very very bad.

I'm replacing both just because I'd rather do them both than have the other give out later.

As for the write up about how they're changed... I did a little research and found that this is an easy process. I'll be making a write up just so we can have them "on file".
