Alrighty, so ala picture below, I cracked my lower bumper cover. Please see last post in thread. I think allI need is the new front bumper cover, but its hard for me to tell having not pulled it before. It looks like 450 shipped.

$800.00 from your insurance company? Did you have to pay an additional deductable? That part is expensive, and needs paint too.

f me, so i need the yellow part, the bumper?. Can i just cut out the middle section leave and mount a votex lip?

votex will cover up the damage no problem and for $800 you are good to go to purchase, paint, and have professionaly installed.

That sounds cool, but Ill show you guys something I just found out, I dont know that Ill have the support to hold it up, check the damage underneath [:@]and the length of the crack, showingit going behind the liscence plate [X(]So I dont know what I can do, if thatll work it looks like the bumpers busted off its supporting points at leas on the cracked side.

A 180 bumper will work fine wont it? As long as its also mk1?

No difference between 180, 225 and 3.2 on fitment.

I've never seen how a votex attaches underneath but I'm willing to bet that it will wrap around enough and bolt the same place as the OEM lip.

I'll do some searching and see if I can find pics of the underside of a votex.
