Hopefully you told them to put in the good blinker fluid in thats made from the blood of rats.
the other stuff just doesn't seem to work right for me.

On a serious note, the squealing was far worse this AM. Lasted longer, too.

Have you checked for a cat under the hood? They are known to squeal a bit when their tail is caught in the belt.

I know that my dealer mech said that sometimes when its cold out and the timing belt is going bad it may squeal on start up. thats all i can think of really hope it helps.

can't be timing belt for me it was replaced not too long ago but still get that sound.
Hmmm maybe i'll record the sound and post the sound file.
play guess that sound.

Not to go off topic (like it's stopped any of us before [8D])...

But mine is now doing something each morning that it didn't do before. Once started it revs to the 1400/1200 rpm range then drops almost immediately to the 11/10k mark and knocks hard a few times, then revs back up then drops back sometimes it smooths out sometimes it knocks again...

Is this something like bad gas or worse? any ideas?

I just got a 2000 Q 180, the guy told me that I could get some sqealing in winter, just for a split sec. He said it's the water pump. I'm in Toronto, I let you know when the cold weather gets here.
