Default Temperature gauge rises..

Greetings!

While driving after the engine warms up, the temp gage rises to 3/4. I'm not driving hard, just excellerating. When I slow down or stop, it slowly drops. Is there a need for concern?

Thanks!

My 2005 TT Coupe 1.8 does the same. It goes to 3/4 and stays most of the time. I get the digital readout of the temp from the a/c. It is 92-94 C which is around 200 F. So I think I have a faulty temp sending unit to the temp gauge. Know how to get the digital readouts? There is a YouTube explaining how.
