Default Tcarbon FMIC install

One of the last mods I have to install now is my tcarbon FMIC. A "performance" shop around here wants to charge me 4.5 hrs at the tune of $95/hr, just to install the FMIC...yeah, not counting any additional labor or shop parts. AND another 250 for a set of samco hoses (tip & ubhoses). F$%* that! How hard is the FMIC to hook up? Doesn't it just hook up to the where the stock side mounts are?

the tcarbon kit comes with the lower boost hoses, the upper boost hoses you have to get seperate or just stick with stock

Nope, the stock turbo is still there..have the 3" dp, blueflame exhaust, and chip installed so far..it is a different car now!-I can't wait till the airbox, fmic, and w/m kit are put on.

Thought you had big plans? Im saying if/when you do follow through with those plans, your ic will be inadequate.

225 tCarbon FMIC is rather easy. that labor from the shop costs almost as much as the FMIC lol. it's quite unfortunate the 180 FMIC piping is rather lengthy + the DV relo = $$

I'm with eLiTTe on this one................

Very simple install, my wife even helped when I neededan extra set of hands. It was a "less than 4 hr" job. The IC itself may not be the absolute best but it is a big improvement over the stockers.

I am thinking of getting the 42 draft design DP. Did that make a big difference in performance? Just trying to justify the expense. For 600 bucks I really need to actually feel
the difference and not just have some numbers on a dyno sheet. Also did you have it installed or did you do the install yourself? How much was the install?
So far I have the Revo Stage 1 tune, Blueflame exhaust, Hyperboost DV and a large K&N type Cone Filter. There is a stage 2 Revo tune but they require the larger DP and
a 4 bar FPR in order to upgrade to it.

Let me know how you like that 3inch DP.

Thanks,

Tom in INdy
