t3 60 trim uber cheap .. sz new
ok so i came accross this ... they claim it is "new" nowhere do they indicate rebuilt at all.

my question now is ... is this a t3 60trim .. what is the difference between this a super60trim? they both indicate that flows up to 350HP but the psi ratings sz max 25 psi

Ah...the modder curious about the classic eBay special.
That turbo is chinese. There is a decent likelihood that the housing is superglued together (some were). There is a very high likelihood that it won't survive anything past 10 psi.Those manufacturers make a bazillion turbos and skip most of the steps that legit manufactureres (Garrett, Mitsubishi, BorgWarner (aka KKK - they make your K03/K04 in Audis, and supply turbos for Porsche) take to ensure quality and longevity. Most likely they are not carefully balanced etc the way real turbos are.
And no, that's not a super 60, from the specs they list it wouldn't even be a 60 trim turbo. They list a 2" inlet and 3" outlet...yeah ok 100 trim! A super 60 has a .42 A/R compressor and a .48 A/R turbine too, which that doesn't.
You can try it but don't expect it to last past a month or two or past 10 psi.

The t3 60 is not that expensive. Just spend the extra $300 and get a real one. ANd the diff between a t360trim and a super 60 is that the 60trim is a garrett and the t3s60 is a turbonetics turbo and is rated 2cfm's higher.
