Ok so I have a 2002 audi tt 225 with a 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back. Right now without any lowering the lowest part of the car is 4 inches off the ground. I really want my new suspension to lower it but not to the point of scraping. I'm looking at either the koni/eibach or blistein/h and r. Any advice or recommendations would be helpful.

Get coilovers, they maybe a little more expensive than what you are trying to go with. But you have the luxury of raising and lowering your car to fit your needs. If you go with your setup, the car may not go as low as you would like.

It depends on how low you go & how stiff the spring rates are. ST coilovers ($850.00) if you go aggressively low, then it will be a bumpy ride. D2 racing has some nice coilovers for the same price and you can go really low on that and it won't be bumpy at all. I have those on a CLK 430, at the lowest setting. And it rides very smooth, doesn't even feel like a lowered car. On my TT I have BC coilovers, don't know how they ride yet due to having them installed on the car. But it's in the shop. I have the BC's on a BMW M3 & Acura NSX, both feel pretty smooth.
