Default Suspension advice

I bought my 00 TT 180 fwd knowing that it had a pretty blown suspension.

I just bought rims and tires 18x8.0 with 245/40 or 45... As well as some 1 inch spacers.

I'm looking for a good sport suspension setup, i'd like to stay away from coilovers, due to price as I'm on somewhat of a budget.

I would like a mild drop, nothing to crazy since this is my daily driver, as well as the car that will battle me through michigans winter. Also I'd like to maintain ride quality.

Thanks in advance guys.

any suggestions on where to order?

http://www.stratmosphere.com/vmaxx.htm????

Any other options?

Oh and are those fully adjustable ride height? I dont want the car slammed, especially since I am concerned about the tires I got rubbing.

They are hieght adjustable (they are coilovers) and that is the only place to order them besides ebay i beleive. You can also get koni/bilstien shocks shocks and some springs, but it would be about the same cost and be fixed into one height. However it would probably give a nicer ride overall

thanks theTTkid, the vmaxx sounds like a good idea. That way I can raise it accordingly in the winter.

Do you guys think I'll have any issues with the tire / rim / adapter setup. I have the wheels, just waiting on the adapters, so I havent been able to check yet.

You're putting 25 mm spacers on all 4 corners?
What's the offset (ET) of the wheels you purchased?

imho, i thought i'd be fine w/ springs and/or shocks.

but NO.

all year long the ride height was bugging me but i always convinced myself it was low as it is, until finally itprovoked me to get coilovers.
