Your ECU sees more than that becuase of your diode correct?
No it sees LESS because of the diode. The MAP reads 4.3v=11psi max.

I wonder how lean your going when you hit 15psi, if your TT is stock because the stock program will only read 10psi that is it, nothing more. So something had to of been done to it if not your running lean most likely because the ECU is only throwing in enought fuel for 10psi and your running 15....i dunno just my thoughts.
Um, no. 180's run about 11psi and 225's run about 14.5 stock. And the specs straight from Audi back it up:
http://www.audiworld.com/model/tt/02/coupe.pdf

Audi factors in one atmosphere in their specs oddly...they say 1.8 bar and 2.1 bar. If you take out 1 bar it comes out to 11.6 psi and 15.9 psi. Most 225 drivers see 14.5 stock though.

murderface, i hope you are right and my tt is not on steroids... i still wanna chip it and change a couple of things...The gauge was first installed on this other black hose that was going into a shiny thing with one nipple, it lookedjust like the fpr but bigger and no boost was read... then i relocated it on the actual fpr hose and it shows 5psi when reving in the parking lot...14.5 when pedal is down to the metal after 4000 rpm or so going down the road...
is an AFR gauge gonna help at any time on these cars???

Wierd when I am in the stock program mode, I see 10psi...funny. But thanks for the link, and a AFR gauge will help but get a wideband one. But for that money just buy a Vag-Com and you will be able to do alot more things than just measure your AFR.

Yeah you're not going to make much PSI when your engine is under no load; i.e. revving in the parking lot.

If you get into hardcore modding, yeah. But a wideband AFR gauge setup is like $400; a narrowband is useless.

This is correct. Audi measures absolute pressure at sea level (1atmosphere + boost level @ I believe 20ยบ C). Basically they are using the idea that the ambient air pressure + the boost level is what the engine is actually seeing. This is also the reason that at higher altitudes turbo cars lose less performance than n/a cars do as they take an overall smaller precentage hit because the boost level remains about the same even though the ambient pressure is dropping (boosted car = ambient + boost, n/a = ambient only).

And stock 225's should seearound of1 bar of boost (14.7 lb/in2)

Ummm how far are you revving your car? You shouldnt get more than a psi or 2 by revving in nuetral

That is true, unless you have a cranked wastegate right, then it will show about 5psi, at least that is what I have heard from the VW guys.

possibly, but im not crazy enough to crank my wastegate. I like having a working turbo and with no money to replace it, i kinda need it.
