Squeaky windows ! (help)
Lately I every time I roll my windows down I hear nothing but squeaking. Everyone looks over at me and i'm sure its not good for the car as well. Is there anything I can do to help the rubber?
Also on the rear window I have noticed the water rolls off the back window and sits inside the seal of the window and the car body.. i hope that makes sense. It seems that the dirt and water has made the rubber look a little dirty and i dont want it to ruin the seal and possibly cause a leak.
thanks

HA.. to be honest it was so muggy out today, it took me 30min to clean all the rubber around the front, side, rear windows and the front grill so once I was done I just went inside !
I'll keep you posted tomorrow if I notice some squeaking.

i used rain-x on the glass inside and outside and it took care of my squeaky windows... moving a dry paper towel across the inside of the glass i could feel there was a lot of drag.... very slick after.

just tried the back to black and rain-x and i would just like to add you might need to remove the door panel because the track the window follows could be the cause of some squeaks.
also the back to black worked when used to clean the track.

^back to black is at best a quick-fix that doesn't hold up well. Plus, it's an oil-based product. Oil + rubber = fail.
Not only have I used most of the popular products, I ran a full-time detailing operation for a while, too... the best stuff that I've used, hands-down, is Griot's Garage. This is the product that you should be using...
