Default Spark Plugs

Looking over the FAQ page, I see the following options for a stock car. Mine is an 04, 225.

SPARKS PLUGS
OE Plugs: NGK PFR6Q - .032" gap

For Stock Cars - .032" gap:
NGK BKR6E
Autolite 3923
Denso Iridium IK20

Which is best?

PFR6Q is the o.e. NGK spark plug that you will get at the dealer or can get them in an NGK box under stock #6458 (original quipment service part. and is Platinum/Iridium)

BKR6E is NGK plug with a V-cut electrode and a copper core.

if u want Iridium in an NGK (similar to o.e.) its BKR6EIX
if U want Platinum " " " " " " " BKR6EGP

the o.e .plugs are three/four times the price of the copper.

you pays your $$ and takes yer cherce... stay with NGK .

The o.e will last 50- 70 K miles possibly but I would use the plat or irid and change every two years and the coil paks (o.e. only) every 50K. You must carefully gap the plugs.

The best spark plugs on the market are Brisk Racing plugs You have no gapping they sit deeper and they add horsepower to your car.

run colder............ check it out http://briskracing.com
