just buy some NGK BKR7E for $10 and gap them to .032 and when you get your chip just bring them down to .028. These are very nice plugs and you can get a set at you autoparts store for the cost ofone Iridium IK22. And even if you change them 15-20k miles thats still 60-80k for the same $40+ spent for some iridium plugs.

Don't use the wire type on the Iridium plugs.. the electrode is easily broken off, the silver dollar works best for those.

No it won't hurt them. They just can't take a lot of bending pressure or they will break the end off. I've always done mine with that style of gauge. The wire type gauges are fine for copper plugs that have a heftier electrode.

Is anyone running the copper NGK's in their's? I didn't think anything about them when I was doing mine a month ago but my brother with an S4 used them and said that they are just as good; especially for the price. We would have to replace them 4 times before the cost would equal that of the others.

So if I go with the gapping of .004 for every 50 and Ive added about 120 hp crank to my carwould I really want to gap my plugs at .024 or is there a point where you dont go beyond?

I only run copper NGK's because they are cheap, reliable, and it takes 5min's to change them at 15-20k miles. I rather have fresh plugs just for my personal comfort.
