Default Spacers

I'm thinking about getting some wheel spacers, the theory sounds valid, but I have a couple of questions. Does anyone else use them? How well do they work? What thickness should I get? 20mm? 15mm? And how can I figure out what my bolt pattern on my car is? On the site I'm looking at right now, the 2 options for the pattern are 100mm and 110mm. I would hate to buy something that doesn't fit.

The TT bolt pattern is 5x100. I run 25mm with my ET37 wheels. Take a look at the spacer calculator to help you figure out what size you can use.

Thanks Steve! Is there any additional purpose for the spacers above increased cornering?

Spacers don't improve cornering, Spacers really don't do much for handling, yes they increase the track width, but that small change has very little impact. They are mostly there for asthetics. I needed the front spacers to clear my Brembo's. I added the rear spacers just to keep everything equal.

You improve cornering by alignment, corner balancing, sway bar changes, tire pressure adjustments and braking correctly.

running +10mm spacers on my 18" Formula Mesh's with a +48 offset.

spacers cleared the rubbing on my wheel well. = +38mm offset.

25mm? are you using straight bolt spacers or are you using the bolt in adapter type, mate? Looking to go with a 245 width tire from my current 235's - still have a great deal of room for expansion...

Yes they are the DRA style of spacers that bolt onto the hub with supplied bolts and then you use stock length bolts for the wheels.
