Default sorry another BOV? I hate this stupid thing.

I got my bov on but now the car won't idle right all the time, sometimes (more when its cold) it does fine but sometimes its like its starving for air and wants to stall. It hasnt ever stalled out though. I know I know i should have got a dv and not a bov. Also i keep going into soft limp for some reason, at least i guess thats what it is, ill be running full boost one minute then hardly any the next time i get on it but if i turn the car off and back on its back to full boost. Im confused as hell and kinda irratated and tired of messing with it. I have a greddy type rs w/ anti stall valve that works great but my greddy type s doesnt work worth a **** and thats what i got on there now. I can always go back to my rs but would really like to keep the type s if at all possible. Can a unitune adjust for a vta bov because im going to get that done first of next week?

^ same symptoms as my Forge 004 or pretty much a vac. leak

my assumption is that the valve is not FULLY closed at idle

That sounds right what clipse said. Just start the car and stick your hand in front of it and you will feel air blow out if its not closed

i dont know why you guys mess with the BOVs car is meant for DVs the APR R1 valve is very strong and can handle upwards of 35psi lifetime warranty too
