Wouldnt that fall under the insurance for the bar? It was deliberate vandalism and happened in the bar parking lot. I would talk to your insurance agent and explain the situation - especially about the blood.

I already got the most of the blood...i am going to wash the car today, the police said there was nothing they could do, it was not intentional damage to the vehicle...they were trying to beat the crap outta each other, not my car...we'll just have to wait and see what my insurance says.

Times cops were a pain in the *** for me: 20 Time cops were helpful for me: 0

They'll ticket you for stupid pointless ****, but as soon as you actually need something, they won't move a finger. I had a tenant skip out with 3 months back rent due, called the cops, I was told to take the guy to small claims court. I would, except he skipped out, and that means I don't know where he is, to get the paperwork to take him to court. They won't do anything to help find him, because it wasn't a criminal offense. Seems like living in an apartment for 3 months, and not paying rent is the same as stealing to me...

But back to you.... I hope it goes well for you, and you have better luck than I had with this rent owing bastard.

Please don't take this the wrong way... I'm a G.I. and know from experience.. G.I.'s just DONT give a **** about their surroundings or what they hurt or damage. At least not whilst under the influence. imo

I keep my car away from where G.I.s walk while intoxicated.

Over here it's twice as bad. There are restrictions on who can drive and who cannot. This causes a lot of animosity once people are drunk and they feel that if they defile or vandalize someone else's car... they'll feel better about not being able to drive over here.
