Make sure your rear shock bolts are tight. Check the rear sway bar connections.

 

i have the same sound, its just the fuel pump pumping fuel, nothing to worry about

 

Is there anything that can be done to stop the hatch from rattling?

 

Are you sure you didn't drink too much and throw someone back there??

I have that damn noise, too. I think the suspension diagnosis is prolly rite on. I have a nasty squeak/groan that goes with it.

 

I checked for the noise yesterday, I have it too. It is def gas swooshing for me, it started loud and got softer and softer over a 3-5 second period. My tank was full then, maybe that has something to do with it.

 

i just turn the music up louder....

when i lower it, i will inspect the rear shocks
but i dont think that is it; b/c it doesnt always make the sound...?
