Default So I just got my K03 replaced with a K04

and I get my car back tomorrow

so now my 180 TT is kind of a 225 TT

:]

but yea I was wondering if I should save up to add anything to my car in the near future to accommodate the new horsepower
I know the 225 has 2 intercoolers but im not sure if im going to bother with that
and Im pretty sure our audi engines are good for at least 300 horse power
but yeah if anyone has any legit other suggestions/ information
I'd like to hear it, I want my car to be and stay in tip top shape

that and i was wondering if there was any way to make the boost a little higher without having to buy anything.. I doubt it but its worth an ask as well

i just got the K04-001 out of a wrecked 225 TT at a junk yard 30miles away only has 28000ish miles on it
dad has a friend that works there so he gave me a heads up that they had the TT there
so it was only $215 plus tax to get it :] but the manual labor to have the local shop put it in will add to that

theTTkid

I could just go back to the junk yard and grab the manifold and downpipe from the junk car too couldnt I?
or is it really not that much of a difference and not worth the extra hassle?

This is very interesting to me. So, what all needs to be done to put that new turbo on? I already have a 3 inch DP. If I go buy a k04 what else do I need to get to throw it on there?

Or, should I save up for a bigger turbo?

So, prices and parts plz. Thanks.
