did you notice that the manifold was attached to the turbo? ALso the dv is on the compressor housing.

well, if anyone wants a project turbo, i can get it off him for ~100.

did you actually clean the surfaces? My dp and turbo have 0 leaks and when i replaced the dp the gasket was blown badly and im sure leaked a little
I ran it for like a second with no downpipe just to hear how it sounds then reattached the downpipe and forgot the gasket...didn't clean anything...perhaps that's why it leaks.

I t took me a while for that exact reasonI purchased new manifold bolts that had the wrong pitch in the thread went to Ace Hardware the next day and got the right stuff.

ecs and other shops sell kits with gaskets and bolts if you want to replace stuff

how does this one look? Its a K03 with a fresh rebuild kit - 0 miles on it since rebuild by a custom tuner shop. what precautions do i take to break in a brand new turbo?

This one is $150. good price? bad price? should be a direct swap for my k03s on my 180TTQ right?
