Im getting new rims on my silver audi tt, right no i have stock. what color should i go with.

 

Personal fav, gunmetal with a polished lip. I had Flik Artic's on my old silver 180.

I like a light grey on a silver car. I'm running Privat Netz's on my white TT, but something like that would also look good on Silver.

Isn't this kind of a no-brainer?

What color do most wheels come in? silver.
What color are your stock wheels? silver.
What look is played out? black wheels, especially with polished lip, on non-black cars.
What color is your car? silver

Just throw some silver wheels on it, painting wheels dull colors and making your $1000+ investment undetectable because everyone else does it is stupid IMO [:@]

note: not hating on gunmetal or light gray, it matches some darker colors better than silver does.

 

Don't take it personal, but I think silver rims on a silver car is one of the worst choices. Thats like wearing the same color shoes, socks, and pants. You need a little contrast to look good.

Cars come with silver rims because it doesn't look like total crap regardless of body color.

 

I agree you need some contrast, I don't think wheels are the items to create it with though. To each his own
