when ever i drive i push my car hard. no point paying for all this power and then not using it.

 

when i drive i normally shift between 4500-6000 especially when the car is warmed up. when i auto-x though...heh that's a different story...i bounce off the limiter. to be quite honest that's when i feel the car is more alive

 

I Shift at 3 or 3.5k in normal everday traffic. I drive alot so I try to stretch my gas tank as far as I can. It's nice just to cruise sometimes.

 

Care to elaborate on what exactly is the issue? I'm curious.

 

02J uses a 212mm clutch stock and 228mm VR6 upgrade and the 02M uses a 240mm clutch. So it doesnt hold power as well and the shifting problems is mainly from the shift fork. If you plan on shifting up there, you need to reinforce the fork or even consider swapping to a 02M tranny like those in the 20th, 337, and GLI.
