To sell or trade, what do you think?
Well I've been a member on here for around a year or so and wanted to ask my forum buddies for their opinion.
Around a month or so ago I became the owner of a 2001 TT 225 with 107k miles. Quattro 6 speed obviously and it had some minor imperfections which I have been working on fixing. Including replacing the blown turbo with a factory k04 replacement straight from audi, previous owner did the Tbelt at 86,000 miles and waterpump/tstat, previous owner also did four new tires, a full service of fluids, brakes, leather cleaned and condition (what a difference now!), etc. The only remain issues are the fan controller module works when it wants (never overheated), some wheel refinishing (not bad and only on two wheels), and the fuel gauge commonly known to happen with the TT. I also added a mechanical boost gauge in the vent (cleanly done) stock everything and peaks 15psi holds 13.5-14psi.
Now my question, I want to know if its better to sell or trade for something the same value as my car and what I should expect money wise if I sell? I thought that I could afford insurance but have had some unexpected financial changes and being 20 years old with a audi tt roadster, well I'm getting bent over from ALLstate insurance. Would anyone be interested?
