SeaTTles TT 225 progress
Background: I purchased a 2002 Audi TT Quattro 225 two weeks ago after a LONG LONG contemplation of what car to buy. (previously a Subaru Impreza owner). My two friends have S4s, but I wasn't feeling old mannish quite yet, so I bought a girls car instead.
I have a couple of Diodes, a Boost Controller, Fuel Filter, Forge 007 BPV in the mail to me as we speak.
On this list for this weeks orders are: Mishimoto Carbon Intake. Silicone Intake Pipe. VAGCOM. Timing Belt Kit (first). Bently Manual....
Well, so far, I have installed an AutoMeter Carbon fiber 2/16 boost guage. Here is a trick. THey come with a plastic mount ring. I removed the beauty ring (silver) from the vent and the black mounting ring from the vent assembly (just the part that slides in snug).
I used expoxy to secure the slide in piece to the beauty ring.

I used Loctite epoxy with the long mixing tip. I actually did the beauty ring, rubber, and guage mount sleeve first and added the dash sleeve last. The applicator for that Loctite is perfect, but I would buy two because it cures fast and you may have it cure in the tip.
