There were 3 "Spoon Sport" s2000's made to copy the original.

I doubt any of them are on the streets in the US.

Even if they were, they have 260 hp (up from the stock 240), and have a few hundred lb weight reduction (2400 lbs)... hardly a straight line supercar.

Edit: This is info I found while checking to make sure honda didn't decide to sell a spoon s2000 just to make me look like an idiot

Instead of starting another ricer thread I thought i would tack on this Suburu Imprenza one here.

Has anyone ever accelerated up to the speed limit very quickly while one of these was in the lane next to you?

Had one tailgating me down my road the other day.
So when we both pulled out onto the 2 lane I wanted to be the first to get to the speed limit. They went past me. Of course I'm stock and had the top down (with my dog as co-pilot) so I was scooping air too possibly as I didn't have the boot in, but I wasn't sure if it was an STI or not as it barely got past me.

These are pretty much like an SRT4 right? cheap, light, and torqy?
They are all wheel drive though I believe.

225HP i think for a regular WRX, an STI would be very hard to beat stock even if you were nicely modded, they are beasts.... well the older ones are better than the newer ones!

Again they are very plain inside though, very minimal but performance wise it is a good car

I test drove a 2003 s2000 and thought it was trash. I mean the 180fwd is no rocket. But I thought my audi was faster. ... I drove that honda hard too.
But kinda got the tt for looks and no one really has em in south dakota! But ill still try to get close to 300hp!! Someday!!

STI? serious? the only way you're gonna take on an STI is if you go big turbo. even a chipped 225 will get smashed on by an STI.

the WRX US models all came within 224-227bhp stock.

though the 2009 gets a whopping incease at 265 bhp and 244 lb.-ft of torque. stock. that **** ain't a joke.

not a fan of the hatchbacks but the sedan looks pretty damn good. i'll throw that into the mix when it's time to get a new ride.
