3 stitches... Sounds like an awfully large shard of metal!
I hope you are up to date on your tetanus shot. Everybody should have one every 10 years.

yea man im in the airforce, my 2 year shot record is like 3 pages long.

got the contact out today, man it feels so much better. and i can see just about fine..still hope to have it improve over the next couple of weeks

alright guys, im going with the royal purple..no harm, besides i can change it again if i dont like it.

now..has anyone else had a problem with their airbag light being on? i fiddled with the key switch in the glove box with no results..

It's good to hear that you're feeling better!
Invest in some goggles will ya! Especially if you're going to continue working on your car.

I think the airbag light can be turned off with vag-com. For tranny fluid I use Redline MT-90.

The airbag light can come from a couple places. I had one that lasted maybe 2 days and went away. People have had back contacts with the wires and they usually correct themselves

Had an airbag code once, vagcom said it was from the side airbag. Wiggled the wires under the drivers seat, and it went away. Didn't even bother disconnecting them, just wiggled them a little.

day 2 with the royal purple..stuff really is great...i fiddled around with the idea of putting some lucas oil in it to refresh the tranny, but a little birdy told me its pretty thick and a better summer addition. any comment?
