i got good compression across the board 175-180 on all of them. the plugs were completly black though all 4, and they maybe have 30 minutes of run time on them. whats going on?

I would also suggest to check your MAF sensor. Try unplugging it and see if that helps. It could be its starting to fail.

You really need access to a VAG COM, autozone code readers WILL NOT GIVE YOU ALL THE CODES that our cars have. You also need to look at some value blocks to see if your running lean (vaccum leak) if the engine actually is miss-firing on the cylinders the codes say they are, as well as everything else.
Now if you run the codes and you have any type of cam sensor fault, the timing is still off. (most likely)
That you just don't have something plugged in, or a vaccum line is off.

I have the same thing going on. I'm taking it in on Friday what should I tell them to look for in the codes. I haven't had a misfire code just replaced two MAF's both times it said I was running rich. So I am trying to figure this problem out.

I have a generic cable i have never used i dont have a laptop , i may have to set up my computer in the garage temp. Also i have tried unplugging the maf no change, even tried taking the battery cable off with the unplugged maf then replacing cable and starting ,,same...

So my problem was, I had about a quart of oil in one intercooler and all in the throttle body. The shop that installed my turbo did it for free. I was suprised in the difference in power and response. Exhaust is in the shop were just waiting for the DP.
