Default Reason I threw a code!

So the other day I got a CEL and pulled p1296. I check under the hood and my filter had came off my MAF. Should I be worried that something could have been sucked in there or would I have know right away?

P1296 Is a cooling system malfunction. Keep an eye on your engine temp and see if its reaching 90-93c. If you dont know how to use your HVAC to check this out do a search and get on it. You may notice youre staying in the 70-80ish range and that points to a thermostat stuck open not allowing your engine to warm up.

Man i've been looking for that since last night. Thanks Ryan
You think this might be the reason my secondary air pump isnt turning on in the morning as well?

Nope. I think thats either a shot airpump or electrical issue. I'd check and see if the airpump runs on its own fuse and start there.
