Rear Suspension Alignment Question
#12
I have coilovers and am debating taking out the rear perches to lower the car to exactly where I want it. That being said, I am also trying to correct rear camber and toe. I am curious to see which option would be a better long term fix...
1) New rear adjustable control arms ($300)

2) Rear Half Kmac Kit ($175 or so)
~Any input or experiences?

If you decide to buy the K-Mac kit...i have a half kit for sale.

Have you had any luck installing the rears without the perches? I recently installed a vmaxx coilover setup and I was unable to do the rear without the perches.
The reason is that I am unable to line up the spring on the centering mounts without the perches. The spring is wider at one point to accomidate the perches and if taken out, the spring will not sit nicely on the centering mount, and could possibly come out . my rear end is higher than the front so i wish I could make it even. Maybe if I took out one section of the perch the car would be a couple mm lower, but taking out the whole perch would be better.
also I took it to alignment and got the rear with a camber of -1.5 . the wheel seems very off, but i think its ok. Handling is great, i think, the back end does not come out. Maybe i should put my RSB on the firm setting
