Default Rear Suspension Alignment Question

I have coilovers and am debating taking out the rear perches to lower the car to exactly where I want it. That being said, I am also trying to correct rear camber and toe. I am curious to see which option would be a better long term fix...

1) New rear adjustable control arms ($300)
http://www.gocpt.com/products/1/controlarms.php

2) Rear Half Kmac Kit ($175 or so)

~Any input or experiences?

Going that low, you will need adjustment in both arms. Either two adjustable arms, a full KMAC, or a 1/2 KMAC in addition to an arm.

a half kmac will not do the job. Especially if you are thinking about removing the perches to be even lower. Can only adjust the camber and toe so much. Get the full kit and you will be good to go.

Can we get a ruling from someone who has successfully lowered their TT with a correct alignment? Or how far off the alignment was with the KMAC/control arms?

~So confused...

adjustable control arms > any k-mac bushings for that matter.

Do I need to do top and bottom control arms, or will one set work?

Or is this one of those things where I have to trial and error the results? Also if I get one set, should they go on top or bottom?

hrrrrmmmmmmmm, more questions than answers now...

My car is lowered about 1-1/2" with Full K-Mac (both upper and lower) and I am dialed in at -1.8 on both sides.

If you are lowering more than 1-1/4" you'll max out the half kit or lower arms. The only way to do it right is have adjustability top and bottom. You can do the adjustable arms on the bottom and K-macs on the top or either type all the way around.

I bought the CPT adjustable arms and they are great. I am getting an alignment today and will post results.

Get the arms, I found is better to align with the special tool.
