Default Racing home from Work

A little background before I start. I drive 2000 180Q Coupe he drive newer Mazda Miata 140hp.

So Me and my Buddy were racing home tonight from work. So we take off from work abour 30 miles from the town we live in. We are weaving in and out of traffic rev's about 3500 to 4000 doing about 85- 90. Car is driving awesome I mean awesome so I go to make a 2 lane change and dont see the car in the right lane doing about 50 Mph. Oh SNAP, good thing there is a exit ramp right there I downshift to 4th and Man am I glad I have Quattro, I make some very illegal but very cool moves (if i must say so myself) (yes im very impressed with my driving skills right about now ) I weave back over 2 lanes to the fast lane and get in front of my buddy we are having a A$$ load of fun. I LOVE MY CAR!!!!! I was impressed with the pick up his Miata has. But I was in front most of the time. I had to keep letting him catch up or myabe his Almonds werent as big as mine.

Some more background I work in a Stealership LOL I run a Porsche store here in Columbia SC. So being at work on a beautiful Saturday around 68 today and didn't want to be there I was ready to Race home.

It was so much fun. I think Im ready to buy a 225Q coupe or maybe Do some nice MODS to the 180. I can really say I really LOVE THIS CAR. LOL LOL

Happy New Year all and DRIVE SAFE

Jeff

nothing like posting a bunch of illegal activities.

Why would you upgrade to a 225 when you already have awd? The only difference is that ithas a little larger turbo (and intercoolers but those would be dumped soon enough) and 6spd instead of 5spd. If your ready for more power just upgrade the turbo instead of buying a whole new car.

You run a Porsche store? So why not get a Porsche, Im sure you get a hell of a discount. Have you driven the Cayman? How does it compare to the TTs?

Was curious about that too - I can say after owning a 944 (the TT reminds me it - I loved that car, too) I would rather drive the Audi or a Porsche - but that my personal choice....

Yes I do run a Porsche Store. The Cayman WOW The car is Awesome Very rigid on teh road no body roll great weight distribution. The base with 245 is great but OMG the "S" with 295 runs like a raped ape. I get to drive alot of stuff. As far as buying a cayman why buy one i candrive one anytime I want. I do have a 06 S with 2800 MIles I drive Whenever I wanmt as my Demo. I LOVE MY TT!!!!! Paid next to nothing for her and she has not disappointed me at all. As far as comparing. Really No comparision. The Cayman Drives much different. Now maybe the new TT's might compare. IMHO!!
