Default RE: Question on DV's

Any of these setups will work fine with the stock airbox right or possibly a swiss cheesed out airbox?

I've got the APR R1 and it works perfectly. No noise - which is exactly what I wanted - and it transitions seamlessly.

I have a stock airbox. All I hear is a very slight turbo whine, but that's due to my exhaust.

i have both a 007 and a splitter.... i like them both.. I kept throwing cels bc of my maf so i went with a splitter and cranked it down so it doesnt throw a code... if i had to pick the 007 is more user friendly and most proven but i do like the splitter for the little added sound you get but thats it.

my maf is bad its not bc of the 007... the splitter i can adjust so it doesnt lol... basically itd be the same as putting a stronger spring in the 007 (which also works) but the splitter i can make smaller adjustments since its a crank style not one spring for different psi's

with it tightened down though its cutting off my boost normally im around 15-17 (cranked wastegate) but with it how it is im getting about 10

I know it's pretty easy to adjust the splitter, but how do you know you have it set right?

when you set it tight and it holds the boost your suppose to and then keep lowering it till the spring tension is as soft as possible to hold your peak pressure.

itll chatter when its too loose pretty easy to adjust and nice for quick tweaks instead of changing springs (don't know anyone that changes out springs though)
