I have an '00 Quattro.. Looking for a DV. Do you have any modshack parts?

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your car. I'm glad you are okay though. Those bruises looked gnarly. I wish ya the best of luck, hopefully you can get another TT.

It was the front end that took the impact, i got hit just infront of the pass front tire, so front end stuff is gonna be iffy.

Left side inner wheel liner is a possibility, right is probably a no-go, glovebox may be possible. Headlights got blasted right off the car, so brackets for both are shot (I may use the bulbs/ballasts to make some hardcore flashlights). Inner door handles, dunno... depends on how much it takes to get them out, remember, its winter, and this is just sitting on the lot at a bodyshop.

I'll def be pulling that diffuser I posted pics of a few weeks ago, I got a good deal on it, and couldn't even find one like it to compare prices on, but either way, insurance isn't gonna pay me for it. I really like it though, so if theres a chance I get another TT, I might want to reuse it.

Speaking of another TT, thanks Jeff, the second half of that list looks more like my price range, theres a few potentials there. Its pretty sad, I'm a precision TIG welder in the aerospace industry, I make welds on metal only .004" thick sometimes - you'd think I'd be able to afford a TT with no problem, but instead, I make $24K a year. BTW, I hate my job...

No modshack parts, I appreciate what he's doing for the TT community, but nothing he does is beyond my abilities, so I'd make my own before buying his. I have a few things started, but I'm terrible at finishing my projects.

I'll keep all you guys in mind here, but I need to go over this stuff with the adjuster before I get serious with it.

FWI, I have the ATC code 180 FWD, and if you have any performance mods I may be a buyer...

Mainly that chip, I'm keeping the the Forge DV for future use since it'll work with any turbo car.

hey there,

I just need a few really odd parts
#1 - Interior map/reading light that goes on the roof. (if you take this off dont make the mistake I did!!, It comes out from the front by where the bulbs are... Do not try to pry it from the switch side because thats where the holding tabs are.

#2 - Onboth doors at the verytopright before the windows thereare some like rubber parts that cover the top of the doors so you cant see inside of it. i think these come off in order to adjustsome torx screw for the windows or something...these areonboththe frontand back of the door.
I need all 4 of those as they are totally missing in mine. :\

#3 - in the trunk there are some plastic peices that seem to coverwhere the bumper meets the body of the trunk. I need this also.

#4 - 4 of the allenscrews that hold the gas cap in place.. I guess when they painted my car they lost the allen screws and put regular phillips head screws in place of 4 of them!
With 4 the gas cap should still be able to stay in place and be unnoticable...

I think that just about covers it.

Ill pay $60.00plus shipping for this stuff seeing as it is just odd parts.. the light switches are on ebay for 20 bucks but they are always in denim blue .

I know your still injured but luckily all of this stuff is relatively simplestuff that pretty much pulls right off the car since it all held in by tabs... except for the screws on the cap

If you need the light switch back for the insurance purposes I can ship my broken one out to you and you can put it in, but seeing as this is just really minor stuff I dont even think they will notice.

I would really appreciate this.
Thanks

like i said, i'll see what i can do, im pretty sore and i still haven't been out to the car. #4 is a piece of cake, 3 I dunno, the battery wire was cut, so i'd have to dig around to get the hatch released, 2 is possible, #1 maybe, giving me your broken one would help with insurance, but I'd want it here before they go over the car. I'm gonna try to get out there later this afternoon, i'll see what i can get from what everyone has posted so far.

turns out, didn't pull anything today, i let my friend borrow my garage keys the other day, and he forgot to return them, and he wasn't home when i went looking for him.

No garage key means no garage tools means no worky. sorry.

I'm gonna go back out tomorrow now that i know where teh damn place is. I was starting to think i was on a seasonal road i was so far out in the boondocks.
