Well no because you can tell those are shaped that way. The ones i took out just looked worn down on the sides.
They were the same black color as the ones i was putting in.
Actually minus the audi logo, and the weird point they were the exact same thing; well with some rust that was on the old ones.

 

It's probably these with some carbon buildup that makes it look abnormal.

 

That's a possibility, I didn't touch or smell them so I can't be certain.
