You'll find the block code on the top front right hand side of the engine. Pull off the plastic engine cover and you should see it stamped there. It will be a 3 letter code.

 

i can get you a replacemant engine for you car for 2400 bucks.

 

2400 bucks is a good deal.

Also you should be able to swap any 1.8L T head VW or Audi
Have to put your own intake and exhuast manifold on but it should bolt right now.
But for 2400 bucks if it's got low miles thats a good deal.

 

lol nevermind engine just got sold from to someone that looked at this thread. wow that was fast.

 

sorry about that, but anyway i can get you another head and you can bolt that up to it. or i can rebuild yours. what do you think about having the car towed to md it will be about 500 bucks worst case scenario. then 1000 on labor and parts which will be at cost. we can also do some modding to it, maybe send it out for extrude honing.
