Your gonna wanna look at the engine code also. You want a BEA not a AMU

That is not my car. That was stolen from vortex. I wish i had a AEB head , not sure about the 35r though

 

is BEA and AEB the same thing?

AEB is the 98-99 a4/passat head. It is the only big port ever sold in the US. Everything else a4/passat/gti/jetta/TT has a small port head.

The large port is wider and flows far more air than a small port head. You can port a small port head to fit large port intake manifolds, but you cant make the flow the same.

 

so if i was looking at att i should look for the AEB code near the head?

You are looking for it to say BEA and not AMU like i posted earlier since i bet some 03's are still AMU's

 

You can, but you have to do some other things beside just swapping heads, but many have done it. The only problem is that the cost for the AEBhead is now around $1k for a used head and only a few hundred for a small port. So you can build a small port and even port it for about the cost of a AEB head alone

 

amu head bad or its just small so it would be better to find a BEA
