Default Performance Mods for 3.2TT

I'm getting the general impression that there are not many performance mods available for the 3.2, V6. Is this generally true? What are some good ones?

Thanks, Ron

Fairly limited but the car is awesome out of the box. My suggestions:

1. 19mm neuspeed sway bar
2. Coilovers ( only lower it about 1-1 1/4 because of the sump
3. Aftermarket exhaust
4. Cams
5. Haldex controller
6. Revo remap

Have fun with it! I love my 2005!

Hey, thanks for the reply. What is a Haldex controller and which after market exhaust? I've researched the Milltek and the Magnaflo, also what about CAI? Any one place a good place to get all these mods? Again thanks for the reply, Ron

Haldex controller controls how much power goes between the front and the rear wheels. Stock it is fwd biased which induces understeer. The Miltek seems to be the exhaust of choice for most 3.2s. The biggest change I saw with mine is the coilovers. Night and day difference. It handles like its on rails, looks better and I can induce oversteer pretty easily. They should have done this from the factory.

The best website for us 3.2 owners is this: http://www.tt-forum.co.uk/forum/

The 3.2 is quite popular in Europe and I have learned most of my info from there.

Well the only "performance" things I have done is the wak box mod and the flapper mod, both of which can be found on that forum. I would say they probably added about 10 hp and lots of good sound!
