Passenger Door Sensor Issue
OK-
Another one for you guys to look at.
At times, the passenger-side door sensor will think the door is opening, so it will roll down the window a crack, activate the interior lights and the graphic on the dash. This has caused the alarm to go off several times, thereby rendering us unable to leave the doors locked.
Is there any reason the sensor would be loose? This happens most all the time when we are going over a bump. Thanks!

RE: Passenger Door Sensor Issue
I have a 2005 3.2TT and had similiar problems. Brought it in to the shop, they couldnt recreate the problem. However, I've learned a very easy fix. Turn the engine on...lower the window all the way down...shut engine off...turn back on...roll window all the up...then turn engine off again. Should be fixed at this time. I know that sounded really stupid, but this actually works when I have that issue. Doesnt happen very often...but its a simple fix. Hope it works for ya.
