Default painting the healdlights one question

Ok since the back of my car is smashed im gonna spruce up the front. Im painting the headlights and removing the reflectors. My car is amulet red does anyone have a picture of a red car with the light housing painted red or has anyone seen one? Any feedback would be great or im just gonna paint it silver. Thanks.

i would stick with all black, it sets it off, see my sig picture, i also tinted the corners in there. Still flashes yellow just looks hot in the daytime

not a fan of those at all, really, but i never really cared for color match, its all preference.

thanks so much achttung I couldn't find any pictures thanks god i asked thats looks horrible in my opinion silver or black it is. One more question the gloss finish wont through the projection on the light? could that be the reason it has a matte finish? Thanks for the speedy replies!

i attempted the gloss painting and it looked decent, but has a good amount of shine from the sun, when i parked in a parking lot it glared, not sure if it would effect projection though. In the end just went with a matte finish.

thanks jhsoccerodp I looked and yours and another member with a red tt I am liking the black and in the matte finish looks the best i think due the black grills thanks man.

Do you have the headlight cover painted/tinted or the actual bay part?

I have the black plastic part behind the lens painted flat black, the one with the whole for HID,fogs,and Highs, and then i have the strip for the blinkers painted with spray on tint. Nite Shades I believe.
