hospitals are for sucks (sorry becca)
You carry a lot of stress after an accident. 1. your body got thrown around a bit. 2. your brain said 'oh ****.. car... car. CAR!!!' right before you got plowed into, and pissed its proverbial pants releasing a serious amount of adrenaline, and 3. now you're ok, but you're still dealing with the thoughs of whether or not your car is totalled.
Stress makes you feel like you do. I've been thru it with my 4000, my A4, and 2 wrecks with my first TT, and one wreck with my current TT.
Sounds repairable, but if its borderline, make the decision whether you want to keep the car (it won't ever be 100% again) or have it totaled, and tell the adjuster. Sometimes they'll work with you.
Reason it wasn't running well after the accident is the HUGE air leak caused by destroying an intercooler. Bet if you unplugged the MAF, it'd run fine.
Sounds like you're alright, just wait it out to hear how your car is gonna be.

Well I feel fine now. No headache or dizziness. Guess I slept it off. Anyway, here's the pics.
I got a rough estimate from the Body Shop manager which so happens to be a really good friend of mine and we quickly added up a total of 8600 in damage so I'm thinking its gonna total.

Ya its really good for crashing, except the money side of it. The car crunches so it absorbed alot of the impact. I got hit by a Crown Vic travelling at 35MPH and I was sitting still. I didn't get moved very far so the TT is really good at absorbing impact.

that sucks man the damage looks bad hopefully ur insurance doesnt yank you around. I had an eclipse a few years ago and my insurance screwed me. They totaled my car and then offered me a joke of a settlement.

Haha, ya I had an eclipse too before my TT. I'm supposed to hear from an adjuster tomorrow. I'll let yall know what the verdict is. For the meantime I have a Pontiac G6 GT in white with an automatic. I think I just threw up in my mouth. I hate that color and I cant stand automatic's. On top of that it just feels cheap like most American car's do. But it moves me so I'll stick with it for now I guess...

Eh, well The white that Audi uses and the white GM uses are like black and white in difference. White looks good on your TT... I was actually looking for a white TT when I was shopping my TT. "American White" Just looks really cheap to me. I don't know what's different about the color but its just blah! lol

sounds like SOMEONE needs to learn how to drive... lol! i kid.
4000 smoked a deer, the A4 I was asleep and hit a guardrail, the first TT wreck was totally my fault, the second could have been handled better, wreck was in my poor fishtailing recovery, but I was in that situation because I'd been driven off the road. Wreck with this TT you might remember, happened a year ago from last october, and I was asleep again. Turns out, narcolepsy.
You'll be sure I've learned something from every crash though, so while I might not have been a BAD driver to begin with, I'm certainly a BETTER driver now. It's easy to recite off what you need to do to recover from a slide, its a different story with its all coming at you at lightning speed. Hate to learn the hard way, but its instinct now, as evident by the massive skid control manuver I used last winter decending a mountain in a snowstorm. No joke, I was sideways and powering thru turns for at least a mile. Braking was useless until i got near the bottom where it was warmer and the snow wasn't sticking so much, but above, every time i had to power thru a turn, i picked up speed. Was doing 50mph at some points, freaking out that the guardrail was so close, and HOPING nobody would be crazy enough to try to climb the mountain, because I was using the WHOLE road.
