my dad and i argue non-stop about chipping my car... he says its a shitty decision, i personally want to do it really bad. ive only had the car a few weeks now and i havent done anything performance wise, (but i did buy it with intake and exhaust) only for looks right now. im sure most of you on here have chipped your car and im wondering what one suggests for a 2000 audi tt, 180 hp. also if anyone knows any good places to get it chpped in nj or ny or even pa or ct please let me know. thanks.

 

well my 225 has been chipped since 5000 miles, made a world of difference performance wise and now has 37,000 miles. Not a single problem. I might suggest what ever chip you choose to get the extra toggle to change back to stock mode for visting the dealer. While I've never had a problem, the dealers seem to say no, but always look the other way when in for service

 

get the chip, they do wonders and dont hurt the engine. The TTs can handle alot more than the chip. Ive never had a problem with services since they dont really do anything involving the ecu.

 

Yea man i got my 225 chipped! im love wit the car again! the car loves it and so do i. all i know is my friend and i raced before the chip and we were neck and neck, he has an 06 chevy cobalt SS supercharged and after i got it chipped he doesn't even wanna play anymore. lol!
