That is what it says inside my gas cap, so that is what I have done the two times so far I have filled the tank. Precaution or true necessity? I know we need premium in the boat or it doesn't run right but - just don't want to spend $3.02/g when I can spend $2.84, ya know?

 

91 is the minimum octane you can run in the TT without problems.
It's cheaper if you fill up every half tank, believe it or not! [8D]

Edit: Next time I need gas I'll be sure to take a picture! Currently prices are $2.71 for 93 octane.

and really the diff in price is only about $2.40 on a full tank. you own an audi tt.. hope you can afford the $2.40 difference.

 

It's not silly goose! If anything it's more expensive, because a full tank makes the car heavier; which in turn makes you lose some MPG happiness!

I wasn't trying to be mean but people always look at it as 15c a gallonmore is so expensive when over 16gal its really not.

and if you can afford maintence on a TT you can afford the diff.

 

My car only gets 93 octane and synthetic oil. - I treat my ride like royalty. - However I have an issue with short puts.


Dont cheap out on gas, you'll kill your engine. - If anything ...think of the extra power you get
