I know this is a blast from the past, but I just barely got around to going to home depot. They only had 1/4 npt to 1/4 male hose fitting and 1/4npt to 3/8 male hose fitting. Should I just try and stick the 3/8's ones in? I know 1/4 to 1/2 would be ideal, I do have the worm clamps and teflon tape...

 

You could try it. If it doesnt work your only out a couple bucks or just return them and go to Lowes
